Raster-to-Vector Conversion Tool
· DesignCAD 3D MAX Version 16 includes an integrated Raster-to-Vector converter so you can scan in your paper drawings and convert them to editable CAD files saving you hours in design time.

Hatch Pattern Fills
· The Hatch Fill allows the user to paint the selected location with a color or pattern, within an enclosed area. Choose from over 70 hatch patterns.

Running Snap Settings
· The Running Snap Settings allows the user to turn Running Snaps on or off, and toggle the usage of individual running snap modes. Optional snap modes are: GravitySnap, LineSnap, MidpointSnap, InteractionSnap, TangentSnap

Customizable Toolbars
· Toolbars are a handy feature if you need a quick way to access drawing commands. Create your own custom toolbox.

Modified Dimension Commands
· Dimension Commands now allow the user to indicate a units multiplier, making it possible to dimension in some unit other than the drawing's base unit.

DWG/DXF Compatibility
· Work with files from popular CAD programs like AutoCAD, TurboCAD and IntelliCAD. DesignCAD 3D MAX now supports DXF/DWG file import and export through AutoCAD 2005.
