Personal Links is a very handy tool you can use to store all your bookmarks and also links to various applications and files.

Personal Links 2.1 Features:

Hierarchical Relationships Between the Links:
· A tree is displayed that shows the relationships between the links in a hierarchical fashion. The contents of the hierarchy are completely up to you.

Drag-and-Drop Positioning of the Links within the Hierarchy:
· To make it easier to create hierarchies and change them as your needs change the links can be drag-and-dropped from one tree branch to another. Drag-and-drop can be turned on or off on the Settings window.

Importing and Exporting the Links:
· You can export your links to back them up or so another person can import them and you can import the links provided to you by other users of PersonalLinks. The links can be exported either as a complete set or as a set of links under (and including) any branch on the tree.

· When the links are imported they will assume their original identities within their original hierarchy. Additionally, if identical links already exist, they will not be overwritten by the imported links.

Printing the Links:
· The links can be printed. Either the full set can be printed or the links at and under a branch in the hierarchy can be printed. When printed the links will display both their name and their values.

Opening a Link of Any Known Type:
· To open a link you simple double-click on it. If the link represents a file that must be loaded to be used then the application that created it will be loaded first, then the link loaded into that application. PersonalLinks uses the registered associations in your copy of Windows to make this connection.

Keying in Links:
· Links can be keyed in directly on the keyboard. You select a tree branch in the hierarchy (or enter it as a top-level branch) then enter the title of the link and the link value and add it to the branch.

Optional Display of Icons Associated with the Link Contexts:
· If there is an association between the type of the link and an icon, that icon will be displayed if you have that feature set on the Settings window enabled. For example, a NotePad text file will show a NotePad icon.

Optional Editing of the Links:
· Once entered, links can be edited. To edit a link you right-click the link and select the editing option from the pop-up menu.

User Selectable Font Characteristics for the Links:
· You can change the type of fonts used to display the links including the family, size, weight, etc. of the font. This is done in the Settings window.

Restoration of PersonalLinks Start-Up Position and Size:
· PersonalLinks will remember where you had it the last time it was run on the display and its size and restore itself to that position and size when you next start it.
